The following is an insightful message from Dr. Gerald Schroeder, who participated in both the roundtable and the Symphony of Peace Prayers 2007 at the Fuji Sanctuary.

Spiral-galaxy

'My background is in nuclear physics, and the aspect of prayer that I see in the world is understanding what, after thousands of years, physics has come to confirm—that we’re all made of the light of creation, that we entered the world with the ‘big bang’ creation of the world. Physics has discovered that there is one creation of matter in the world. It entered as beams of light, and it never stopped being beams of light, it just changed form. Prayer lets us link into this understanding. We are made of the light of creation, not poetically, but literally. When you pray, you realize that you are part of that light. A person may not look like the light of creation, but all of physics today holds by the fact that every one of us and everything in our magnificent universe is indeed a piece of the light of creation. We are made of the energy of creation. We were witness to and were part of the creation, then and now. And everything that you see in the world is made of those same energies.'  Dr. Gerald Schroeder

SOPP 2009 planning is moving along very smoothly at Fuji Sanctuary, with a wonderful program featuring various prayers for peace, which will be offered by religious and spiritual leaders of the Jewish, Protestant, Sufi, Buddhist (Soto Zen), Shinto and Sikh traditions.

Set to a beautiful music, the universal prayer for the peace of each county is the heart of the event. This year, a large banner representing the Universe will open the way to the national flags at the start of the ceremony.

Vibrating from the Fuji Sanctuary's Prayer Field, a silent meditation at the end of the program will link the whole network of world peace prayers into ONE.

A Prayer for the Oneness of All Living, will be read during the program. Feel free to use this prayer at any time. Download Sopp-09-prayer-for-a251947

New Year Ceremony 2009 at Fuji Sanctuary

Unknown  On January 11, 2009 close to 4000 people joined in a powerful ceremony of light in the Prayer Field of the Fuji Sanctuary. In the beautiful morning light, they exchanged greetings using none other than words of love, of light and of gratitude, acknowledging the divinity in each other. They came to celebrate the New Year as well as to offer their splendid divine vessels in a renewed commitment to inner peace and conscious awareness of the higher Self. Under a crisp blue sky, Mt Fuji towering above the Prayer Field, they joined as one voice in a prayer for the peace and happiness of all people, performed the divinity mudra, Ware Soku Kami Nari, Jinrui Soku Kami Nari, and under the guidance of Mrs Saionji, Chairperson of Byakko Shinko Kai, they engaged in a special divine activity, blending the 3rd and 4th dimensional vibrations, that is the physical energy and the heavenly energy. While vigorously rubbing their hands they released then this blended energy to all living things and to the planet at large.
